Mine usually starts and runs easily, but is a bit harder to start if the temperature is below freezing or if the engine is hot. Also if the temperature is fairly warm to begin with (say above 80 F). When I say harder to start, I mean that it takes a second instead of half a second!

Once it is running I don't notice too much difference from one day to another. The throttle does seem to lag a bit on a hot day once the engine is hot (say after half an hour of steady running).

Makes a lot of sense. I had a Kawasaki EX-500 that ran great in any weather until the temperature dropped to < +3 Celsius (38 F). Then it became hard to start and was almost impossible to run.
